BELIEVE.

You're Welcome Here

For those who still believe, even from a distance, this is for you.

Maybe faith has been a quiet part of your life for a while.

Maybe Mass is something you find yourself at a few times a year - at Christmas, at Easter, at the moments that matter most.

Maybe you still believe, even if you haven't quite known what to do with that belief.

That's all right. Because this invitation is for you!

In 2028, Sydney will host the International Eucharistic Congress - a century since the first in Australia.

Eucharist28 is a gathering of the Church in prayer and renewal, built around the Eucharist: the mystery at the heart of the Catholic faith, and the reason Catholics have been gathering together since the very beginning.

It is simply an open door. A moment in the life of the Church when people who believe - or who once believed, or who want to believe again - are invited to come closer and see.

By signing up, you'll begin to follow the journey toward 2028. You'll receive:

  • Updates as the Congress takes shape, delivered gently and without pressure
  • Stories from across Australia of people walking toward faith
  • Opportunities to attend, explore, and take part at your own pace
  • News about what is being prepared - including the expected visit of the Pope

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You don't need to be at Mass every Sunday to join us on this road.

You don't need to be ready for anything except this: curiosity. A willingness to see where the journey leads.

The Eucharist28 community is yours. Come in. Follow the journey. And let the rest unfold.

Sign up today. There is a place for you here.

Yours in Christ,

Bishop Richard Umbers

Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney

General Secretary, International Eucharistic Congress
